Data we collect
- Account: name, email, authentication identifiers, password hash.
- Profile (optional): resume, experience, skills, location, photo.
- Activity: jobs viewed/applied, messages, AI feature usage.
- Technical: IP, user-agent, and session metadata for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- Operate the platform: matching, messaging, applications, billing.
- Generate AI-assisted recommendations (Copilot, Career GPS, Interview Coach).
- Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Improve features through aggregated, de-identified analytics.
- We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies
- Essential cookies for authentication and CSRF protection.
- Functional cookies to remember preferences (theme, language).
- Analytics cookies are first-party and aggregated; no third-party ad trackers.
Retention & deletion
- Account data retained while your account is active.
- Deletion requests honored within 30 days; backups purged within 90 days.
- Anonymized application analytics may be retained for product improvement.
Your rights
- Access, export, correct, or delete your data from Settings at any time.
- EU/UK residents: full GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection).
- California residents: CCPA rights (know, delete, opt-out of sale — we don't sell data).
